GI Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery Support Group

Patients, those considering surgery, family members and support-persons (18 & over please) are welcome to attend our support group meetings. Our groups are moderated by healthcare professionals.

You may attend EITHER the first *OR* second Wednesday meeting of each month, but not both. Please join us!

April 5, 6-7 P.M. in A-126 Buddha Body Yoga will be our special guest for the beginning part of tonight's meeting. They teach how to adjust, modify, and adapt standard poses so that larger, overweight or injured people are able to successfully practice.

Location Information / Directions

To go to BB: Belfer Building, 413 East 69th Street
This building is on the way to our usual location of A-126. The Belfer Building is on the north side of 69th Street b/w 1st and York Avenues. Once inside the building, please ask the guard to direct you to the room assigned for that night's support group OR consult the digital screen on your right, just past the guard.

To go to A-126: Uris Faculty Room
Please enter through the medical school entrance (69th Street and York Avenue) and ask the guard to direct you. This room is close to the entrance and on the ground level.

To go to: Greenberg 14th Floor Conference Room
Enter the hospital at the main entrance: 68th Street between York Avenue and the East River (525 East 68th Street). Follow the directions to the Greenberg elevators. Take them to the 14th floor. Turn away from the windows and follow the hall until the end where there is an information desk. The conference room is to your right and behind the information desk. (Do not enter the hospital unit through the double doors on your far right.)

To go to WGC: Weill Greenberg Center 2nd Floor Conference Rooms
1305 York avenue is on the Southwest corner of York and 70th street. Take the escalator or elevator to the 2nd floor.
